| Resumen: |
Contends that Michelangelo's "homosexuality" was manifested in multileveled reenactments and enactments. On the surface was a reenactment of the sadomasochistic qualities that characterized his relationship with his father. Beneath this sadomasochism reenactment was a shifting sense of unclarity of maleness and femaleness that is depicted by the ignudi, the hermaphroditic youths painted on the Sistine Chapel. |
